Download "What's New in Sage SalesLogix 7.5" - PDF
Sage SalesLogix 7.5 is now in beta and is scheduled for September release. With the various CRM solutions that are on the market, what are some of the specific reasons that a company would put Sage SalesLogix on its short list?
1. On Premise Deployment While there are many vendors of multi-tenant, SaaS CRM solutions, there are not as many options for purchased software that can be installed on-premise. There are still companies that simply want CRM and other applications installed behind their firewall. There are still companies that want to write a up front check for software purchases rather than renting software. 2. Disconnected User Data Access
Remote user synchronization is part of Sage SalesLogix's DNA and Sage SalesLogix is one of the few products that allows offline access to any information, including data in custom tables. For example, if ERP sales order history is synched into the back end Sage SalesLogix database, this data can also sync out to disconnected users. Starting with version 7.5, remote users can also have a Web front end to their remote database. 3. An ACT!-like User Experience ACT! by Sage is still the most widely used application on the planet. Sage SalesLogix, which was originally created by the creator of ACT!, still preserves much of ACT!'s look and feel in version 7.5. This can be important when trying to win the hearts and minds of sales users. 4. A Financially Sound, Stable Company Behind the Product Sage Group, PLC is a very stable and profitable global business services software company. This allows Sage to continue investing in important portfolio products such as Sage SalesLogix. |
